About Us

Who We Are

The Appalachian Radiotheranostic Coalition (ARC) is a regional collaboration built to help community hospitals and rural providers adopt targeted radiopharmaceutical therapies (TRT) safely, effectively, and sustainably. ARC was created through an SNMMI Mars Shot for Nuclear Medicine initiative focused on community-based theranostics, led by the University of Tennessee Medical Center and Carilion Clinic as regional hubs.

Our work is grounded in a practical reality: theranostics has advanced rapidly, but training, staffing confidence, and repeatable implementation workflows have not kept pace in many community settings. ARC exists to close that gap with clear education, hands-on training, and startup guidance that can be adapted locally.

Current ARC Partners and Hosts

ARC is anchored by:

  • University of Tennessee Medical Center
  • Carilion Clinic

Additional partner discussions and corridor expansion are ongoing, with the goal of creating repeatable, community-hosted training opportunities across the region. If you are interested in participating please reach out at the contact information provided below.
